Photos Locked ("the app", "we", "us") is designed to keep your private photos and videos secure on your device. Your privacy is the entire purpose of this app. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.

SUMMARY All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

INFORMATION WE HANDLE Everything below is stored locally on your device only. None of it is ever uploaded, sent to us, or shared with anyone.

  1. Photos and Videos Photos and videos you import or capture are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are not uploaded to any server or cloud service.
  2. Vault Lock (PIN and Biometrics) Your vault is protected by a passcode and/or biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint). Authentication is handled by your device's operating system. We never receive or store your biometric data. Your passcode is stored securely on your device.
  3. Camera The camera is used only when you choose to capture a photo or video into your vault, and for Break-in Reports (see below). Captured media stays on your device.
  4. Location If you enable Break-in Reports, the app may record the approximate location of a failed unlock attempt so you can review it later. This location data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted.
  5. Break-in Reports To help you detect unauthorized access attempts, the app may record a photo from the front camera and the location at the time of a failed unlock attempt. These reports are stored locally on your device and are only visible to you.
