Help & Frequently Asked Questions
How do I restore my Growlt Premium subscription on a new device? Open Growlt, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Your subscription will be restored automatically as long as you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple or Google. On iOS, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Growlt → Cancel. On Android, open the Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Growlt → Cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep premium features until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account and all my data? Open Growlt, go to Settings, and tap "Delete Account & Data." This permanently removes your nickname, user ID, XP, and all activity feed entries from our servers, and clears all local data on your device. This action cannot be undone.
How does the bank notification (iOS Shortcuts) feature work? You set up a Shortcut automation that sends bank notification text to Growlt via a local URL scheme. The text is parsed entirely on your device — nothing is sent to our servers or any third party. You always review and confirm the expense before it is saved locally.
My expenses or balances look wrong. What should I do? Use the Settings → "Reset Everything" option to clear local data and start fresh. If the issue persists, contact us at the email below.
How do I contact support? Email us at [email protected]. We typically respond within a few business days.
